I like people who have listened to this, and enjoyed it because most critics (and fools) say that this is a worthless, horrible album. It’s probably one of my top 20 favorites of all time, despite the bad reviews and I applaud anyone else who is capable of recognizing the beauty of this (and all of Ryan’s music).
This album helped me through a deep depression last year. It sounds totally different from everything they’ve done before and I pray that those rumors flying around about their breakup are totally false. The best moment of my life was meeting Nick Zinner and Brian Chase outside of Amoeba in LA. Check this out!!!
I’m proud of Lethem for finally writing a novel on clearly his favorite subject, music. Kind of an odd story though, but worthwhile nonetheless.
