I didn’t like the first in this series, but the second finds Jeffrey Cohen back to his normal, fun self. Lots of laughs and a decent mystery. Bring on the third.
This is the slowest and weakest of the Disney fairy tale movies, but it still has some fun humor. And the climax is the scariest of them all.
While a couple chapters get a little long, these exchanges are very funny. It’s hard to believe the spammers are as stupid as portrayed here.
The story could have been stronger, but the characters were spot on. Overall, I really did enjoy it.
If self-aborbed characters in a boring story interest you, you’ll like this one. Otherwise, pass right on by.
Author Beverly Cleary has expertly captured the mind of a 5 year old in this book. It is heart warming and very funny, even as an adult. Recommended for children of all ages.
This is the first in a historical mystery series, and I really enjoyed it. Occasionally the historical detail overshadowed the action, but it was basically good.
Like the others in the series, this isn’t memorable and deep. But it was entertaining while it was on. And I loved some of the lines.
