Something lost in the translation? — 41 weeks ago
WORTH CONSUMING!
It was a nice book. Very short and abrupt, but nice. I haven’t seen the movie yet so I am unsure of what all the hype is about because I didn’t think the book measured up. It’s been translated from German so I am guessing the feel of the novel was lost in the translation because although I adored the simplicity of it, so much of it just seemed so random. Usually when something happens in a book, you might think it’s odd at first but eventually you accept it and believe it. In this book, many events were kind of puzzling and just felt really random rather than making sense.
