Desperation by Stephen Kingnote: I just checked this out on www.bn.com. It does sound interesting. I must admit, I do love a little humor with my horror. Also, if it is set in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, it will give me a point of reference which helps me imagine when I'm reading, because I'm from Nevada and have vacationed there several times.
