The premise seemed interesting, but I could have cared less about any of the characters in this book. The writing was boring and the characters were somehow both severely f-ed up yet completely flat.

bizarre and depressing, yet umm… i liked it anyway.

i just kinda dig palahnuik’s combinations of the grotesque and the mundane. it all comes together very disturbing, but somehow nice.

i don’t consider this book a lost cause, because i really love it – it’s beautifully written, unique, and the storyline is intriguing—it’s just a very intensive read, and i needed a break.

it was a nice book read, but i was completely unsatisfied with the story after it was all said and done. perhaps i should be more open-minded, or perhaps people should write blurbs that actually match the contents of the book!

love it, love it, love it! why they cancelled this show, i will never understand – it is pure magic.
