The animation isn’t so great…no big deal to me. I prefer a good story. It’s quaint. I appreciate an animation of a classic tale, should be done more often.

The stories were creepy enough for my little girl, so thumbs up on that. The backgrounds were pretty spooky. Made us want to read the originals.

I get the feeling that the author is a bit biased, but it’s an okay book.

This book is as good as or a little better than most introductory-type books. Just because I already knew most everything in it is not reason for me to say it was bad. I imagine someone who knew nothing of Hinduism would find this helpful, and they may have enough interest sparked as to be inclined to read some deeper material, according to their interest perhaps a book like “Dancing With Siva” by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami or some more Vishnu-oriented material…

There are so many things to be discovered about Hinduism. This is the tip of the iceberg, but not a bad place to start.

This is the best, most lovely Who album. I love every song on here, and it flows from one song to the next really well.

If you haven’t tried these on pizza…you must! I lived near Monterey, which is near Castroville, California where lots of artichokes are grown, and artichoke pizza was a specialty in that area.

It’s a lot like ginger. Thai food uses it a lot.

Imam bayildi (a Turkish dish, the words mean “the imam fainted”—because the taste of this is so good!), moussaka, baba ghanouj (ghanoush), eggplant parmesan…it’s all so good!!

I can see why Persephone couldn’t turn down Hades’ pomegranates.

Yes, they are tedious to eat…I like the juice much better. So expensive, though!
