Why I gave up consuming "Heroes" — 2 years ago
I’ve missed too many episodes and now I’m completely lost :(
Maybe when the series comes out on DVD I’ll watch it then, cos it was a pretty awesome show!

Although I’m not too sure about the whole ‘concept album’ thing they’ve got going on. It’s all a bit vague, I don’t think it works quite as well as they intended it to.
You can definitely pick up the Queen and Pink Floyd influences in these songs, which didn’t really show much in their earlier work. Their sound has changed since previous albums, and the music has definitely become a lot more commercial. All in all, I enjoyed it, but I still prefer ‘Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge’.
As much as I despise Tom Cruise, I surprisingly found myself enjoying this film!
Quite frankly, this film was rubbish. Tom Cruise is annoying, and a bad actor. And as if that’s not bad enough, the plot isn’t remotely believeable (the ending is the worst part).
On the other hand, my 10 year old brother adored it, and spent the next few months running round the house like a madman pretending to be a secret agent! But then his idea of a good film is anything with guns in it…
I’ve marked this album as ‘worth consuming’ purely because of my two favourite tracks. Firstly there’s the timeless ‘I miss you’, which is possibly the best song that Blink 182 have ever released. My second favourite track, is ‘All of This’ which features the vocal talents of The Cure’s Robert Smith, need I say more?
The rest of the album also contains a few catchy numbers, and the overall feel of it is quite different from any of Blink’s other albums, which is quite refreshing.
