A story about "Shrek 2 (Full Screen Edition)" — 2 years ago
It’s good, but the first one’s better.

I'm currently reading 2 books, listening to 2 albums, watching 1 movie, eating and drinking 0 food items, and consuming 6 other things.
It’s good, but the first one’s better.
I really should read all of the credits to the songs. I didn’t realize Ben Moody worked on “Fastlane” AND “Edge of Seventeen”. I was starting to think that I liked a non-Ben song over the Ben song. It makes so much more sense with how addicted to “Edge of Seventeen” I am. Yes, I realize it’s a cover. But the arrangement is awesome.
Okay, so I have a habit of listening to music and movies at the same time. I guess I’m just trying to find another “Dark Side of the Rainbow”. It hasn’t really worked out so far, but I still tried this movie and Evanescence’s new album, “The Open Door.” It just seemed like every other movie I have tried over the years, with the occasional spot that matches up. That is, until “Lacrymosa” came on (the first time). I swear, it was like the song was meant for that scene. Also, when “Good Enough” plays you’ll think “this is the total opposite of what should be playing,” but then when it starts up again it all comes full circle and it makes so much more sense.
This album takes a couple listens to warm up to, but after that, you won’t be able to turn it off.
I’m absolutely loving Sweet Sacrifice and Weight of the World right now.
When the three Umbrella soldiers are taking out zombies in the alley (just before the cut to the helmet with the zombie reflection), look at who they shoot in the head. It’s former Evanescence guitarist, Ben Moody!
Disc two is the better disc, in my opinion. Although, I hate how that disc is the enhanced one and you can’t exit that screen until you start the video. But that’s a small price to pay to listen to the better half. My favorite song on the album, just happens to be the last track, “The Right Man”. Although, “Candyman” comes in at a close second.
This album is like WWE Originals, only ALOT funnier. And by ALOT, I mean, not even in the same league. Every wrestling fan should have it in their collection. If only to just laugh hysterically for 35:19 minutes. Before “Macho Man” Randy Savage told Hulk Hogan to Be A Man, he was Speaking From The Heart on this album. The Undertaker even gets in on the action, in a track you have to hear.
This is The Rock’s best movie, in my opinion. Not to mention the funniest. There are just so many quotable lines throughout the entire film.
When they are on the bus (the second bus on the way back from New York), look at who Matt hits on. It’s WWE Diva and Dancing with the Stars 2 alumni, Stacy Keibler!
The Rock and Vince Vaugn made this movie. The first couple views are worth it, just to watch their scenes. After awhile though, you just feel like skipping through everything else.
