I love the world deLint has created here…now if only I hadn’t had to return it to the library before I could finish it. Have to get it out again…

I seem to be reading this one in fits and starts. Maybe this time I’ll finish it…
Definitely up to Kress’ high standards of plausible science and sympathetic characters. I really enjoyed it and will be looking for the rest of the series.
Dark humour at its best…I’m really enjoying it. Bought it for a dollar at the Dollar Store, which makes it even better!
A fasciating fairy-tale for grownups—a little slow to start but a quick and fun read after that.
Rated as YA fantasy but I think it’s more complex and with deeper themes than that. Really liked it, although the ending was not what I expected.
Charming YA Fantasy which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Great essays and stories and a compelling look at a life in SF.
Good space opera with interesting characters—also lots of horsey bits, which was an interesting twist…
