WORTH CONSUMING!

There are times when I forget that I love Billy Joel. While I may forget for extended periods of time I always remember and must listen to at least one full album to get my fix. I grew up on this.

There’s a part of “I Don’t Want to be Alone” where I still, years and years later, expect a short skip where the record jumped due to a scratch. It always throws me off when it’s not there.

A story about "Vagabond (Grail Quest Series)" — 3 years ago

I have checked this out from the library more times than I can remember. I have yet to read it. This time I have yet to even pick it up. I don’t know why, as I really enjoyed the Archer’s Tale. I’ve wanted to read this since I finished that one.

Maybe tonight…

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I have no idea why this is classified as historical fiction. It’s not a novel so much as a history book. I’m glad to know more about Thomas Becket but I think I could have found a better book from which to learn. At least it’s a library book and not something I bought.

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Pride and prejudice [and] Sense and sensibility (Modern Library college editions, T1)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

(This is the closest I could find to the actual copy I have, which is a 1950 hardcover. It is a Modern Library edition though.)
It’s taking too long to finish this. I have trouble reading unless I am going to read the entire book all the way through, regardless of how large it is, and I haven’t had a chance to do that with this one. (I have happily spent entire days doing nothing but reading.) Instead, I’ve been reading it in bits and pieces before I go to sleep.
I love it so far, though I see the characters in my head as played by the people from the Colin Firth miniseries. Oops.
