This book really shows different perspectives of designers and their portfolios, some of which really shocked me with their brilliant thought processes and how they came up with their portfolios. Pretty damn good.

DIY: Design it Yourself

Agreeing completely. I’m a final year design student and this book has provided tons of inspiration for my future final year project, every page has something that’ll help you, it’s definitely not a design book that’ll go onto your shelf to collect dust after one read. Superb.

Heavenly Forest

This movie has inspired me to take my photography at school more seriously than any other show on this entire planet. I never believed my friend when she told me to watch it, and if I didn’t feel a sudden urge to take a camera and use it after I watched it, she’d treat me to lunch.

Looks like she can save on that meal now.
It has a sad ending, and one does question for awhile why Shizuru had to “grow up”.

I’d watch this show over and over again for the beginnings and the middles, but I don’t think I have the strength to go through the ending ever.
