Why I recommend "El Secreto De Sus Ojos (The Secret in Their Eyes)" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I am purely mesmerized by this movie, it will stay with me for a long time. Probably the last time I felt such an amalgamation of feelings was after I read “Love in the time of Cholera”, which is my all time favourite book. This movie was truly wonderful.

Why I recommend "The Lovely Bones" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Not surprisingly slated by the critics. I think it was well made and beautifully shot, I felt the atmosphere of the book has been kept in the movie. In my opinion, one of the better book adaptations.

Keira Knightley’s first movie.

Why I recommend "Funny Girl" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

WOW! In my opinion, one of the greatest love stories ever filmed. Fantastic performances from both Streisand and Sharif and, of course, the outstanding voice of Barbra Streisand. Shouldn’t be missed!

Why I recommend "Straightheads" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Although short and the plot could be more developed, it is more disturbing than most blockbuster thrillers put together. Gillian Anderson is great and, it has to be said, looks absolutely amazing!

Why I recommend "The Pursuit of Happyness" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Will Smith does justice to the story of Chris Gardner, a man who is a living proof that if you have passion and devotion and work hard to do something with your life you can can actually achieve big things. This movie should be watched by everybody so that people realize that sitting on a sofa and drowning your sorrows in a glass of beer won’t get you anywhere. It’s pulling yourself together and getting to work that will pull you out from the bottom. Inspirational.

A review of "Christmas in Wonderland" — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I don’t expect much from Christmas movies, I just want them to be enjoyable and entertaining and have this Christmas atmosphere that sets me in the holiday mood. But boy, of all the Christmas movies I’ve seen this one must be the worst.

The acting of Cameron Bright and Carmen Electra is beyond bad, in fact, Bright must be one of the least talented actors I know; I saw complete amateurs acting much better on the auditions, let alone when working on the set. I am amazed when I hear people saying he is one of the rising Hollywood stars.

The plot and the script are atrocious, the story is ridiculous even for a low budget TV Christmas movie. Some of the lines left me dumbfounded and thinking how it is possible that this film was even allowed to be released.

A complete waste of time, AVOID.

Why I recommend "A Christmas Caper" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I love those corny TV Christmas movies and when the Christmas period starts I am addicted to them, along with Christmas carols, shopping and decorating my house. If you want to put yourself in the celebration mood and you don’t expect great cinematography this is one of the films to watch.

Why I recommend "Iron Man [2008]" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Robert Downey Jr’s BIG (and again: BIG) comeback

Why I recommend "Because I Said So (Widescreen Edition)" — 4 years ago

I don’t recommend this movie but it’s worth seeing just for outstanding Diane Keaton. She’s such a wonderful comedian and here she’s again at her best. She, and only her, made me laugh all the time and that’s really the only good thing about ‘Because I said so’.
