A review of "Papaya and Mango Massive Moisture Shampoo" (rated 3 stars)

Papaya and Mango Massive Moisture Shampoo

by Freeman

This was just okay for me. The smell is AMAZING, but as far as its claims of “massive moisture”, I’m not so sure. If you coupled it with a conditioner it’s just fine, but used alone I found it left my hair a bit dryish.

Why I recommend "Blueberry & Champagne Clarifying Peel-Off Facial Masque"

Blueberry & Champagne Clarifying Peel-Off Facial Masque

by Freeman

I randomly saw this at the supermarket and picked it up mostly because I’m a fan of peel-off masques and it’s not tested on animals. I have to say that I’m not at all disappointed. My skin feels tight and clean and considerably less oily than it usually is.
The gel is easy to apply and even easier to take off, and after you’re done you can just give your face a quick rinse with warm water. The only complaint I’d have about it is its somewhat strong chemical-ish smell when you’re applying it (something like nail varnish remover) which can be a little irritating. The smell only lasts for a few seconds though and quickly dissipates, after which it actually has quite a pleasant smell.

I added about a teaspoon of curry powder and 2 extra jalapeño chilies for a bit of a more savory / spicy flavor, about half a cup of tofu cubes and a bit of chopped up mint leaves thrown into the mix. I also made a glazed grilled chicken which was an awesome addition to the couscous. This is really really easy to make, healthy, and yummy!!

Sauté until mango begins to color, about 1 minute.

Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil, couscous, raisins, tomato, lime juice, cilantro and parsley and toss to heat through, about 1 minute. Season with salt. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Do not get this if you intend taking alot of photos with your phone or if you like all those ‘additional features’ that more expensive phone have that you never really use, this is not for you. I’ve heard people whine about the L6 saying it’s too basic, but IMO it’s stylish, practical, light-weight and most importantly, lets me take calls and text which is really all I want in a phone (The USB connection is pretty spiffy too :D ). If I want to take photos or listen to music, I’d get a camera and an ipod, so should you..

Why I recommend "Invent Your Scent - The Collection Pack"

The scents are amazing on their own or mixed together to create something totally new (albeit not always very nice :p ) .. If you’re like me and hate sticking to one kind of smell every day, then this will be perfect! My favorites are aztique, amorito, chymara, velique and zinzibar.

Good for a light rub around the elbows and knees before heading out if they tend to dry out (or if you just want to smell nice!), wouldn’t recommend it as a daily moisturizer though – for that try St Ives Cucumber & Melon lotion, works wonders and absorbs really quick

The bad part about it is it doesn’t absorb into your skin and leaves it feeling greasy and looking shiny (in the bad oil-covered sort of way).. Maybe if you have excessively dry skin this would work better.. Yes I was aware that there are different butters for different skin types, and I’ve tried the Shea Nut and Passion Fruit butters (for normal to dry skin) and neither of them absorbed.. 3 stars just for smell alone though.. Simply yummy!!
