A story about "Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Full Screen Edition)" — 40 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is a fun romp with a semi-automatic-sweet romance thrown in the middle. It’s not academy material, but the chemistry is real and the idea that we never really know our significant other until we hit a crisis rings true.

A story about "A Weekend with Warren Buffett: And Other Shareholder Meeting Adventures" — 41 weeks ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’ve been enjoying this book greatly. The chapters are short and well-written. The level of detail puts the reader right into the room next to Mr. Cepuch.

Since I also own a couple of the stocks referenced in the book, I am especially interested to see how their shareholder meetings fair.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I really didn’t like this one. It just never seemed to gel properly. I wasn’t scared. I wasn’t shocked. I was mostly just bored.

A story about "Bram Stoker's Dracula" — 2 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I’m sorry, I’ve read the book. This should in no way be called Bram Stoker’s. The only parts I think were handled well (and often forgotten) were Harker’s experience and Van Helsing’s single-mindeness. There was no need to add the “real” Vlad to it, or add in extra entries for Mina’s diary. I remember laughing out loud at the movie. I don’t reccomend it. Go read the book. Heck, go pick up the 1979 version. Or even the 1930 version. Just forget this one.

A story about "Shaman in a 9 to 5 World" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is an excellent read. It’s pragmatic and easy to understand. It has excellent ideas on accessing your spiritual side and how to blend the traditions of Shamanism into your everyday life. It’s geared directly to people who don’t have a lot of nature to seek out. The ideas are also adapted so as not to freak out your neighbors. The visualizations for journeying and meditations. It is a far-ranging survey of shamanism as well. It incorporates everything from Native American beliefs to South American to Russian. Highly reccomended reading.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is probably my favorite Green Day CD (until they come out with their next one LOL). I use it to work out, write to, travel to, and think to. It’s got excellent lyrical work. The music is complex and speaks to many different styles while remaining uniquely Green Day in sound. It’s worth picking up.
