A story about "Children Underground" — 1 year ago
So, so, so terribly sad.

weatherly
is consuming 5 items,
doing 13 things,
going 2 places, and
meeting 0 people.
I'm currently reading 1 book, listening to 2 albums, watching 2 movies, eating and drinking 0 food items, and consuming 0 other things.
I’m not entirely sure how I made it out of high school without reading this book. It’s somewhat simple, but beautiful all the same.
I read this book in high school. I know I loved it. I know it spoke to me then and I’ve since always listed it as a favorite.
I started re-reading it on the train yesterday. I can’t even explain how or why it’s affecting me so strongly, but it is. I rarely physically react to things I read, especially when I’m in public. But. I laughed. I cried. I cringed. All in one train ride.
Oh, Charlie.
My favorite of the Ricky and G-man books.
I keep wanting to watch this over and over again.
Drag queen. Michael Pitt. Rock music. Hell yeah.
At the National Book Festival, Gish Jen signed my well-loved copy. Awesome.
I’m finding it shameful that it’s taken me years to finish this book.
And two years later, I did finally finish it.
Worth it, by the way. It’s incredible.
