WORTH CONSUMING!

Cute and funny… aminals!!! Clever looking pictures of them, with clever captions (not as cheesy as it sounds). =)

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "I Heart Huckabees" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

A friend told me this is a “must-see” for me, yet has still not loaned me the damned thing…

A story about the last time I consumed "Million Dollar Baby (Two-Disc Special Edition)" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Somebody dragged me to see this in the theatre because I am soooo picky about movies and probably wouldn’t have gone otherwise, even though a good guy friend was extremely moved by the whole “one goal, determined til the end” thing. But life is about diversification for me, so I wasn’t really feeling it. Still worth seeing though, in fact most everything I’ve consumed has been worth it even if I didn’t fall madly in love with it. Worth it to examine at least and to branch out a little more into the non-sure-thing zone.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Hmmm well, interesting ideas and a few good quotes interspersed in here, but it’s rather emotional writing so if you don’t like that, you probably won’t like the book. Also, it makes a bit of a case for the whole polyamory thing (which seems to be the choice topic of late), but without fully examining the sort of modernity-related ideas of why things look like they may be heading in this direction due to the obvious changes accompanying the shift into and beyond the “information age”... still this is the most heartfelt and I guess soul-driven, humane piece of writing I’ve come across so far that attempts to explain and/or validate this concept. If you’re looking for deeper and more useful insight into the relationship conundrum, though, there are other books far better (Terrence Real’s How Can I Get Through To YOU? & David Kantor’s My Lover, Myself, for example).
