A story about "Slim-fast and vodka" — 1 year ago

Well years ago I would have tried this, so I say I consumed it because at some point I probably would have… vodka goes with everything, right?

A story about "San Francisco sourdough bread" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is THE bread to try! I sat and literally ate bread and soup every time we sat down! I bought several loaves and took them home, I haven’t found a recipe that can compare to this stuff!! Rocks!

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I ate these once, then I swelled up. Apparently I’m allergic!

A story about "Better than sex cake" — 1 year ago

Here’s my version of this:

1 German Chocolate Cake mix
2 Eggs
1/3 c oil
1 1/4 cup water
Topping
1 bag Toffee chips
8 oz Caramel sauce
8 oz Fudge sauce
2 Snickers bars sliced
16 oz whipped cream

Beat cake mix with snickers pieces, eggs, oil, water. Pour into greased pan, Dollop fudge sauce in a even pattern across dough, sprinkle in Toffee chips. With a butter knife, swirl the fudge and chips into the dough without mixing TOO much (should appear swirled). Bake According to directions.

When done, take out of the oven. Poke the butter knife in about half way and make small slits in a random pattern across cake. Drizzle caramel sauce over cake allowing it to run into the slits. Cool and add Whipped cream as topping!

I also have made this as this variation:

When cooled and taken out of the pan, layer in ice cream along the bottom of pan and sprinkle with crushed oreo’s. Place cake over ice cream, make random slits on top, pour over caramel sauce, top with whipped cream and put back in freezer. REALLY rich!

A story about "rosemary chicken" — 1 year ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The first time I made this I wasn’t sure if it would turn out… the instructions called for crushed rosemary (I had to crush mine)... and I had pieces of lemon instead of the juice… but it turned out wonderful and is one of my favorites!
