WORTH CONSUMING!

Kids with Cameras, a non-profit organization, was born out of this project. If you are looking for amazing art to hang on your walls, they have prints that you can purchase, the proceeds help to keep the project alive.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This film is a cross between “Fargo” and “Rain Man.”

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

“Casanova” was entertaining for a film in it’s genre. I did not go into it expecting it to be a life changing cinematic experience. It was amusing, sometimes witty, and overall wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. If approached for a recommendation however, I would pick something else, and hence “the not worth it” rating.

WORTH CONSUMING!

One reason why I liked this film is that fifteen minutes into it, Ravel’s “Bolero” played. It’s been a long time since I have heard that piece in a film.

WORTH CONSUMING!

A few notes:

I have seen many many Q&A’s and never seen a more passionate director, which clearly translated into the film.

In all countries there are Sophie Scholl’s.

Presented by The Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust and Laemmle’s theaters. Also met Greg Laemmle. He’s a lithe man.

I’ll have to add more notes later, so as to not spoil the film for those people who will actually watch this.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Graemme and Gretel arrived from Hawaii the other day with their beach tanned bodies and over an Astro Burger conversation turned to movies, as it always does, and he started talking about Paul Newman stuff, and how his uncle would rave and rant about this film, specially the finale. Anyhow, it’s then that I interjected to say that I hadn’t seen the film, and he said, “You out of all people!” And then shook his head several times. So now, I have to see this.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Hmn, I couldn’t help but think of “The Talented Mr. Ripley” throughout the film. Things I like about this film: tennis, luck and opera.
