After watching “League of Extraordinary Gentlemen”, I was convinced “V for Vendetta” was going to be another brilliant work by Moore completely butchered by Hollywood. Probably due to my low expectations, I thought the movie was actually good. Still nowhere near the original, but not a steaming pile of ”#!$ that LOEG was.

It’s ok. There are some funny parts, some mushy romantic parts, some fiery action parts… Don’t expect much, and you’ll love it. Also, the movie doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s good.

Some ideas were interesting, but it struck me as rather human-centric, if not outright xenophobic.

I can feel my teeth rot just by looking at the ingredient list! ;) I got this from a friend as a souvenir and we were both really curious about it. It’s not bad, but I wish there was more crunchiness to it. Maybe some almonds?

If nothing else, worth seeing Guy Pierce showing off those lovely muscles.

It could be written better, but I liked it. Some interesting ideas, for sure.
