WORTH CONSUMING!

Wow, I love this stuff! It smells nice, it leaves my skin all soft and smooth, and it kind of reminds me of cookies, which is never a bad thing. ;) I’m only worried if it’s too much for daily use on my (rather sensitive) skin, so I try not to overdo it.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Hm, this feels more like rubber than jelly, I’m afraid. On the up side, it smells lovely and the piece I have will probably last me an eternity.

Bleh, they should’ve kept the original ending. This is just sooooo Hollywood.

It is, in fact, entirely possible that I’m going crazy. But then, I have always admired musicians with a sense of humor.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Wow, they have the audacity to market this as “health food”? I mean, it’s sitting on a shelf right next to muesli! With all that sugar and flavoring, there’s no way there’s anything healthy in there. And that’s exactly why it’s a perfect fit for my PMS-induced munchies.

*munch, munch, crunch, munch…*

WTH was Anthony Hopkins trying to do with his accent?

WORTH CONSUMING!

Another lovely creation from the creators of Wallace & Gromit. This is geared towards 4-8 year olds, but there’s no rule that says much older “kids” can’t enjoy it, right? ;) It’s witty and silly and fun and very well made. Not to mention that the opening song gets me dancing every time. :D

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

After absolutely loving the first movie, and not-really-liking the second one, I had my doubts about the third part. But, I’m a person who eats everything on her plate, finishes all the books she starts reading (even if they’re not that good) and, apparently, watches sequels if she’s seen the first part.

I’m sorry to say I was really disappointed with this. The plot was confusing as hell (actually, what plot? there were just these ideas scattered around, not fully fleshed out or linked in a way that would make sense), the characters came across as annoying bastards (and the scene where Keira Knightley was trying to be all captain-y with her screeching voice was one of the funniest parts of the movie), the humour that made me love the first movie simply wasn’t here, and the whole thing lasted about 2 hours too long. Sure, there were some amusing scenes, some really clever parts, but all in all, it wasn’t worthy of consumption.

And PS. The people at the cinema turned off the projector about halfway into the credits, so we didn’t see the extra scene. I want my money back! ;)

A story about "Platonic Chain" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

From AniDB: In the near future, technology has made a few leaps and bounds, and videophones and constant wireless internet access are available to everyone. However, it would seen that the government has been careless and a skilled hacker was able to break into the national information archive. Using the data held there he creates the Platonic Chain website for people to discover information about themselves and their friends. Words start to spread quickly that there is a site that enables you to look up anything. Coincidentally, three young girls, Hitomi, Rika, and Kanae, are able to access the site.

It looks like an interesting commentary on the world as it will/could be in a few years. I’ve only seen the first episode, but it looks good so far. And the episodes are super short, ideal for watching it just before going to bed.
