A story about "Practices of an Agile Developer: Working in the Real World (Pragmatic Programmers)"

There’s even a handy pull out card to remind you of each key point.

A story about "Dreadful Ed"

Dreadful Ed

by Andrew Cosby

Dreadful Ed is a new children’s book written by my kid brother. I read it to my daughter last night. It’s a sweet story about a little boy who doesn’t quite meet his father’s or schoolmates’ expectations.

(Oh, btw: Ed’s family and school chums are scary monsters! Perhaps my brother is working out some issues here…)

My daughter really enjoyed the story and the creepy artwork. It’s not a scary story by any means, but she still didn’t want to sleep in the same room with the book afterwards. ;)

A story about "Damn Nation"

I’m a sucker for vampires. (Sorry for the bad pun)

A review of "The Da Vinci Code"

The Da Vinci Code

by Dan Brown

Well researched and some interesting ideas, but the writing was horrendous, the pacing repetitive and predictable. I mean, every chapter ended with YET ANOTHER AMAZING REVELATION! The characters were flimsy and obvious projections of the author. I couldn’t finish it. Maybe it’ll make a better movie.
