Even though the CD only has 5 songs, they’re 5 perfect examples of AGR. All four of the band members get to demonstrate their abilities and it gives you a great sense of how wide-ranging their sound can be. Give this CD a try if you’ve never heard the band before.

Seeing Guster live has always been an enjoyable experience. And while it’s not quite the same as being there, this CD is pretty enjoyable. My only complaint is it would have been nice to have a couple more songs off of Parachute and Goldfly instead of so many of their newer songs, but that’s a minor quibble.

The entire CD is fantastic. Usually there’s at least one song I find annoying, but that’s not the case here. If I’m ever stuck trying to figure out what to listen to at a given time, I know this disc is never a bad choice. Fantastic energy because it’s a live performance, which makes me even more determined to see Galactic in concert as soon as I can.
