Why I recommend "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Watch the movie Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights before you try to get into this CD. If you fall in love with the movie like I did, rush out and buy the CD! The movie had hot Cuban boys, hot dancing, and hot music. All of that hot music is on this CD, and I definitely dance around the house all the time with my iPod listening to it. My favorite song is “Dance Like This,” but they’re all EXCELLENT!

If this movie made you want to dance…buy this CD and go out and take dance lessons…then dance around the house to it…you won’t regret it!

A story about "Take the Lead" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The best song on this, no questions, is the title track: “Take the Lead (Wanna Ride).” It has an AMAZING beat, and I listen to it all the time now! It’s great to listen to while I’m working out, but I listen to it even just before I fall asleep. I can’t stop listening to this song because it is just that awesome.

This will be my Bible in four years when I’m starting med school applications. Right now, it was just something to look over a bit to prepare me for my future.

A story about "Book Lust: Recommended Reading for Every Mood, Moment, and Reason" — 3 years ago

Not all of the book lists interested me, but I spent about an hour skimming and jotting down titles from lists that were interesting.

Everyone says the diet version sucks, but I like it.

A story about "XIII" — 3 years ago

Some tracks are better than others. Half of them are phenomenal, half of them I don’t really care for.

WORTH CONSUMING!

You’d have to have seen the movie to know what I’m talking about here…

I work in a library, and everytime I see “The Count of Monte Cristo” on the shelves I laugh to myself….

Book vs. Performance — 3 years ago

For any of you who have seen Bill Engvall’s Here’s Your Sign segment on Blue Collar Comedy Tour – the book doesn’t measure up. Sure, the jokes in the book are funny, but what makes it more funny is watching Blue Collar and hearing Engvall’s tone of voice and the audience reactions.

Not a bad book, but I prefer the live performance better.

Humorous — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s an entertaining and humerous book that reads fast, filled with 50 or so short stories or essays. For anyong who wants a somewhat humorous, somewhat real look at the uncommon issues a physician might face – this book is for you.

Pretty Much Amazing — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book is pretty much amazing. I like to make a habit of wandering through the non-fiction shelves at my local library, picking up anything that looks/sounds interesting and reading it. The picture on this book caught my eye. It’s a very motivational story about what you can do if you put your mind to it, but it’s also very sad. I just figured that I will probably never get a chance to try free-diving, so I might as well read a book by a champion free-diver. It gives you a little glimpse of what it’s life. It’s a very quick, fascinating read, and I recommend it to anyone.
