A question I have about "Green & Blacks Organic chocolate" — 3 years ago

Have you noticed that it has changed in taste? Is it a bit more sugary now?

I am just trying the Divine range Dark Chocolate. Which is a bit smoother but an interesting alternative.

A question I have about "Green & Blacks Organic chocolate" — 3 years ago

I live off this stuff. Dark chocolate is just fantastic.

After trying the more Vegan ones and also the Terence Stamp Range Green & Blacks do still take the biscuit.

Although recently I am wondering if they are still as pure as they used to be. It seems to be a bit sweater now or is this just me?

Why I recommend "Sliding Doors" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Seeing for a second or third time I am still enjoying it. Each time there is a new something I’ve missed before or I get a different reading from their emotions.

It’s also fascinating to see what the film pulls off with such a small budget and setting it in London. It made me look at the place with new eyes. Plus I do like dear Gwynnie.

Why I recommend "The Hours" — 3 years ago

The book is so different from the film. Reading I could find the inner life of the characters. Getting into their emotions is brilliant, discovering their secret hopes and fears jut amazing.

The idea of synchronicity really drives the film and takes it to a whole new dimension.

Why I recommend "The Understudy: A Novel" — 3 years ago

David Nicholls keeps the writing in a great pace. I really enoyed reading it and had to force myself to save another chapter for tomorrow before its all gone. The hero of the story is put into a tight spot from page one and gradually tries what he can to work out if he can free himself from the situation.

I also enjoyed it being set in the theatre and film world. Nicholls makes it sound real and plausible without it being strange or boring. The scenes are wonderfully engaging and it really made me want to find out what happens next.

A story about "Wah-wah Diaries: The Making of a Film" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Grant is a brilliant diarist, having kept a diary since his youth it is such a page turner. Reading it before seeing the film didn’t give the story away, instead it gives it a whole other level. Thrilling read.
