I’ve been wanting to have a copy of this book for AGES ever since I saw it in National Bookstore. Back then though, the book was too expensive (Php600). Then I couldn’t see it anymore, until I stumbled on it at Greenbelt with a whopping price of Php300! YEAH. Anyway, I’ve always loved Peretti, and this one did not disappoint me at all. I find myself wondering how Nate and Sarah would be able to find their kids and that just kept me turning the page. Plus the fact that I am starting to like reading about spy stuff, this book just gives me what I want. Oh, and I really loved how Elijah got their coordinates through watching the sun’s shadow and measuring how high the North Star is (and until now I still can’t fathom how he did that).

Anyway, the book is a definitely good read. :) Loved every part of it.

This is certainly different from Frank Peretti’s works, but this one is just as good as the others. The book is written in such a way that you might be viewing a movie (and I think this book would make an excellent one) and it just brings up to the excitement of the entire novel. There were a lot of parts that were a bit too scientific, but can be understood after a few re-reads. :) Not exactly a page turner, but a good read. :)

I liked the spy concept, though the rich kids doing the spying is quite unbelievable. Plus the fact that the spies are twelve year olds…it seems to be a bit too dangerous for them to do that. I can’t see a spy wearing Prada or what, and then running around chasing the suspect in high heels. O_o;
