My friend Andy handed me this book which purports to be a thoughtful inquiry into the life of an Anglo guy who prefers to shag Asian guys, but although he name checks lots of postmodern writers and quotes lots of clever people, he never seems to really reflect much on what he’s doing or why he’s doing it. It’s entertaining, but as a “thoughtful inquiry” it’s disappointing.

somewhat odd film with Gary OIdman playing an American version of a faery from an olde englishe folke tale. Young man winds up on a sidheway (Interstate 60) and has to rescue a damsel in distress from an town full of lawyers.

Really fascinating account of the main players in the original Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. I was really sketchy on the history of this Order, so it was great to see it all woven together. Just enough of a ‘Golden Dawn Confidential’ to keep you interested.

I’ve made a promise to myself to do all the exercises, which I just about never do. Of course, the first ones are all about sitting meditation, as they always are, so I’ve stalled.

Lordy this guy can go on!

Everyone tells me that this book is meant to be a must-read, I’ve adopted my flatmate’s copy.

Looking forward to working out how I (and my beloved) can reach enlightenment while shagging furiously…

Fantastic journal by one of the greatest spiritual writers of the late 20th Century… Here’s a guy you can listen to: he meditates daily, falls in love, lifts weights, and has opinions about fashion designers… A teacher for the common people…

Osho is great fun. A scandalous cult leader but full of fun allegories and good advice about loving yourself and The Other. Highly recommended.

Short book, but it inspires some thought. I bought it to see if it brought me any inspiration as a software designer.
