I’m reading this the broke girl’s way: at Barnes & Nobel. When I have the free time, I go hang out there for a couple hours and read. So far, this is good. Weiner’s one of the few “chick lit” authors I can still be bothered to read. AFTER: I finally found this at the library and finished it within a couple days. As always, Jennifer Weiner’s books are some of the few in chick lit that I still bother with.

Picked it up off the library shelf and flipped to the first page, which seemed good enough to catch my interest.

Ghost stories are one of my favorites things, but so hard to find good ones. These are interesting so far, but maybe not as scary as I’d hoped.

Missing person stories always fascinate me. AFTER: Great story, the end made me cry. I won’t tell you if it was in a happy or sad way, but either one, any book that can induce tears is worth reading.

I’ve read her two other books and liked them, and this was just as good. It’s something you never think about, restaurant critics & how they do their job exactly. I definitely never thought costumes and acting came into it!

My god, I love this series. Such a guilty pleasure. I have fellow co-workers who admitted they’re addicted as well, so at least I’m not alone in my shame.

Chick lit. I haven’t really read any lately. AFTER: Cute and funny, but the ending was seriously tacked on. It’s like she got tired of writing and said “Okay. I’m done right … now.”

His work is always strange to the point of surreal. I read “Diary” last & loved it, so I have some high hopes.
