A story about "If Only" — 4 years ago
Love autobios. Geri seems to have a sense of humor, so it should be interesting. AFTER: Loved it! It was really well written and lots of fun. It made me want to dig out my Spice Girls cds again!

Sounds good. I love missing person stories. AFTER: What a gorgeous, sad book. I was so sad for Alice, I kept wishing some miracle would happen and Matthew would turn up alive. Their relationship was amazing.
I love Candace Bushnell, probably because she writes unapologetically shallow stories about plastic, superficial people. It’s not meant to be serious, and a good fluff novel never hurts once in awhile. AFTER: Fluff or not, a book’s main character has to be somewhat likeable. And Janey Wilcox? IS NOT. She’s a self-absorbed bitch who makes you want to have bad things happen to her.
I was so skeptical of an actor writing a good book, but after I read Shopgirl, I was convinced. He uses a very spare, unpretentious style that I love. AFTER: I can safely say that Steve Martin is fast becoming one of my favorite writers. This was so funny and quirky.
What a strange sounding story! This was on one of the display endcaps at the library, and it caught my eye. AFTER: It started well, but sort of devolved into a surreal, wispy prose that only made me skim through paragraphs and pages.
Been wanting to read this for ages. It sounds intriguing, very unique. AFTER: Amazing book. The end kind of leaves it to the reader to decide if Pi’s story is fact or fiction, which is an interesting turn.
Looks interesting, a kind of inside look at a life that’s so foreign to most of us. AFTER: Definitely changed my opinion on the Amish. I’ve always lived very close to Lancaster, Pa & see them all the time, but this inside look at what happens when one of their own tries to leave? Eye opening.
I think Jane Green irks a lot of people, but I think her books are just easy to read fluff. AFTER: As usual, and addictive easy read.
A fairly untalked about way of life, it just seems very interesting. AFTER: Insightful, and fascinating.
Glossy fluffy goodness. AFTER: Incredibly hard to put down; it was like a tabloid in novel form.
