A story about "Genevieve" — 4 years ago
I’ve read every single book he’s written, and they’re always good. He has a way of writing that makes you actually care about the characters and what happens to them.

AMAZING. It brought out far more emotion in me than every other movie I’ve seen in 2005 combined. Definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen in years.
I want to see the movie (dork!) but thought I oughta read the books first.
Sounds interesting; it’s supposed to be comparable to The Lovely Bones – which I liked – so I thought it was worth a chance. AFTER: I tended to skim pages sometimes, because it got awfully self-indulgent with the character backstories. The author just tried too hard to make the characters sound quaint and country. The story was fine enough, but nothing special.
Awesome. The battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan at the end almost made me cry, which would have been far too embarrassing for words. And still, I found it impossible to side against Anakin, even after the whole younglings business. Hayden Christensen is just too delicious to hate, evil or not. Really, the evilness only made him all the better.
I always watch the TZ marathon on New Year’s, and I thought this book would be fun to read.
This was included in a list of the best fantasy & horror books of 2003, and it looked interesting. It is, although it gets a little too melodramatic sometimes.
I’ve been reading this for about a month now, on and off. It has some truly original stories, like “A Brief History of the Dead”, “The Baby in the Night Deposit Box” and “Cell Call”. Worth reading.
I’m a sucker for ‘end of the world’ books. However. Now that I’m reading it, it seems far more religion-based that I thought when I checked it from the library. Still, it’s interesting. I don’t know if I can take a whole series – I didn’t know there was more than three books! – but I’ll see what happens. AFTER: What suck! I gave up halfway through. It very quickly devolved into utter lunacy.
I’ve always lived near Amish Country, but DAMN, I still find their lifestyles fascinating. Even in fictional form. AFTER: Great story, it definitely kept my full attention. The end was interesting, unexpected.
