A story about "Let Me In" — 6 weeks ago
The original Swedish film, Let the Right One In, is a much better film but this version is still better tan most American horror movies.

This show probably isn’t for everyone, at least based on the first two seasons.
Do you like Seinfeld?
Is George your favorite character on Seinfeld?
Does a show where every character is George from Seinfeld appeal to you?
If you answered ‘yes’ to all three of these questions, then congratulations! “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” may be for you!
If not, then you may find yourself slightly amused at a show where all the characters are completely unlikable people. Maybe it’s worth a shot.
This is not a movie to be taken seriously, nor a particularly good movie. It is, however, full of eye candy and silly nonsense, so if you are into that sort of thing you will probably enjoy seeing it.
It has silly post apocalyptic punks in a Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome / 28 Days Later / Resident Evil sort of world. It also has a crap-ton of senseless action and violence, rapid-fire action cutscenes, little to no coherent plot, a ton of internal inconsistencies, and very strange taste in music (nothing says cannibalism like Siouxsie Sioux!). I LOVED it. But that’s just the way I am. You, not being me, will probably disagree.
Doompunk rules!
This is the scariest movie I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen quite a few. It plays on all the little heeby-jeeby fears that most people have from time to time, but adds interesting twists as well; it doesn’t spell everything out, and is better for it.
One thing to note: though this movie doesn’t skimp on the scares or the action, there is no real gore. Depending on what you look for in a horror movie, that may be a good thing or a bad thing, but I think this movie is proof that quality in horror movies certainly doesn’t necessitate an “R” rating.
Overall, a highly recommended movie for any horror fan.
If you are looking for a faithful rendition of Richard Matheson’s beloved novel, I Am Legend , you won’t find it here (The Last Man on Earth , with Vincent Price, is a much better bet).
That being said, this movie is still worth watching, but mainly for the cheesy camp factor. It’s not a very good movie; but it is pretty entertaining.
This movie has no redeeming qualities. It wasn’t good enough to be good, nor was it bad enough to be fun. It was just bad, and boring. It wasn’t even violent or action packed enough to allow it to qualify for that sort of entertainment.
This is possibly the second worst movie I’ve ever seen (next to McHale’s Navy).
I am not a big Will Ferrell fan (understatement) so would never volunteer to see this film. As the people I was hanging out with were all hell-bent on it, however, I was kinda stuck.
You can imagine my surprise and disbelief then when I actually ENJOYED this movie. It was generally funny, albeit in a mindless sort of way. Still, I had a good time, even though I feel a bit dumber for it.
That being said, the ending was still stupid. I can see why they did it, but it was still stupid.
If you like Edward Gorey, Victoriana, horror, punk, or any combination of the above, you’ll probably dig this. Creature Feature is a perfect mix of classic gothic horror novels, bands like MSI, and The Aquabats. Listening to them is like watching Tim Burton movies in the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari on Halloween night as the dead crawl from their graves and Martians release deadly heat rays and toxic black smoke upon the countryside.
Basically, if you are remotely like me, you’ll love them.
But, you don’t have to take my word for it! Nay, you can find out for yourself! They offer a good selection of their music for your listening pleasure on their myspace music page (http://www.myspace.com/creaturefeaturemusic).
