Why I want to consume "Loving What Is: Four Questions That Can Change Your Life" — 3 years ago

I bought this book Friday evening. It is Monday evening. And, I’d guess that I’m at least halfway through the book.

It all makes a lot of sense to me thus far.

And, it seems to be helping me already.

A story about the last time I consumed "Ramen Noodles" — 3 years ago

It is once again tasty.

And, satisfying enough.

In a way.

Why I want to consume "Ramen Noodles" — 3 years ago

Because, right now, I am eating it. And, it is tasty. And, going in my belly.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read this book in E110, my second shot at freshman year in college….

I remember everyone criticizing Art.

I remember being the only one that defended him. The only one that seemed to understand him at all. And, realizing for the first time, that not everyone grows up knowing what it’s like to lose [a loved one].

I have to say that I’m glad I had that grad student in particular, and that he had chosen this book for us to read. It was an eye-opener for me. It made me understand a little bit more about myself. Which, always puts a book in the dear to my heart category.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It took me forever to get over being irritated by Conor Oberst’s voice. However, First Day of My Life did it for me.

I actually had a number of his albums for a few years, and couldn’t bring myself to sit through them. I heard First Day of My Life about a month ago, and realized I should give it a shot. So, I did. I guess that’s a good thing. Who knows.

I’ve also been more in a Bright Eyes mood lately anyhow.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I bought this book, along w/ a few others, the last time I ventured into the bookstore to buy some reading material.

I really recommend David Foster Wallace to pretty much anyone that likes to read. His style (lets not call it clever) fills pages w/ quick wit and smart-assery.

I read this a few years after reading Infinite Jest, and was not disappointed.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read this a few years ago and I will read it again, but not until I buy it. Which, shall hopefully be soon.

Love his style.
