It’s good shit… literally! We all know it’s bad for you, but it just tastes so good! I love an occasional Big Mac, the fries are fckn awesome (especially with a nice pink mixutre of mayo and ketchup!) and a nice tall diet coke – that’s right, diet coke. Why drink the calories when you can eat ‘em!?

Ramen Noodles

Ramen noodles are awesome! Besides being super-cheap, it’s extremely versatile! I was hoping I’d find more than 2 variations on a regular package of Ramen!

My brother’s recipe:
Toxic Ramen
1. Prepare noodles according to package.
2. Drain noodles.
3. Return noodles to pot.
4. Add seasoning.
5. Crack one egg and add to pot.
6. Place pot over medium heat and stir, stir, stir!!!

Some other great and inexpensive items to add:
Add one or several – mix and match!

Cheese (countless types of cheese – get creative!)
Peas
Corn
Carrots
Diced ham
Diced chicken
Sausage
Nuts
Curry
Soy sauce

Pregnancy! I crave ice, but have sensitive teeth, so I set out on a search for the best crushed ice! So far, the winner is Sonic Drive-In Restaurants – the ice is perfect and the styrofoam cup it’s served in keeps the ice from melting too quickly. Hardy’s and Circle K has decent crushed ice as well, but Circle K’s crushed ice machine is broken more often than not…

If you know any other places that serves crushed ice – pleaseSHARE!

The Matrix

by Larry Wachowski

I’m not a big fan of Keanu Reeves… he’s dry and very bland – unless he’s Ted Theodore Logan and unless he has no lines… ironically, his best line in this movie is when he witnesses Morpheus’ jump: “Whoa!” But it’s a good movie all the same.

This book was hard to read, because it talks about such deep things like loneliness, rejection, suicide, death… but there are equally deep entries that helped me overcome some hardcore moments in my own life and helped me simply because I felt assured I wasn’t the only one with all this shit in my head! I was lucky enough to eventually meet the author and have my book autographed!

Skinny Legs and All

It took me a very long time to complete this book… it’s very strange! The sub-plot involves three characters that are inanimate objects (a can of beans, a dirty sock and a dessert spoon). That was hard for me to wrap my head around.

I also lost the book once (I left it in the drawer of a seedy motel in New Orleans when I visited there on Spring Break in 2001). But when I finally completed it, I read a few more of Tom Robbins’ books. Good stuff.

I love the music of this movie almost as much as I love the movie.

Her rendition of Ruby Thewes is flawless. It adds comic relief in all the right places and even bothers to be profound once or twice.
