A story about "Living Under June" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s her first album and it’s still the one that moves me the most.

A story about "Good in Bed" — 5 years ago

Fat girl deals with insecurities that started with her body and mutated into the rest of her life. A lovely, funny book with a cast of interesting characters and the happy ending all we fat girls dream of. An inspiration.

Facinating.

A story about "Prey" — 5 years ago

Crichton has this knack of writing novels based on real technology and real possibilities. It means a lot of geeky information inserted as the plot rolls along. So far, it hasn’t been intrusive… unless me noticing that counts as being intruded on already!

Anyway, excellent book about the havoc us humans can wreck with nanotechnology. And he left the ending with a possibility of Prey II.

A story about "Lionboy" — 5 years ago

Hmm, apparently it’s only the first book of more to come because the story is in no way complete. Charming tale of a boy who can speak Cat. It was ok but I’m not totally in love with it.

A story about "Crocodile Fury" — 5 years ago

I almost didn’t finish this book! It’s not very easy to get into but still it’s a beautifully written story! I think I may get one for my personal collection.

A story about "A Year in Provence" — 5 years ago

Not bad. Described Provence in a manner that makes you want to move there yourself.

A story about "Good Omens" — 5 years ago

It’s an amusing read on a whole but I think I lost a lot of the impact because I took forever to get through it.. not because of the writing or the story, but more of me suddenly acquiring the attention span of a fruitfly. Will read this again at some point in the future.

A story about "Vernon God Little: A 21st Century Comedy in the Presence of Death (Man Booker Prize)" — 5 years ago

I have to admit not really liking this book when I started reading it because I like my novels in standard English and not in the Huck Finn-isque accent. However, I’m glad I gave it a chance. There is no shortage of jokes that’ll make you laugh out loud and Vernon keeps you guessing until the last couple of chapters.
