TSE did Faber and the rest of us a favour with a choice which includes ‘The Waste Land’ along with some of the most memorable (and often elliptic) work written before the ‘Four Quartets’.
It’s a slender tome, but an admirable selection.
All copies of this should be burned. Such a book has no right to exist. Prof d’Arbeloff, M.S., Q.E.D., misspelled title here or not, gives altogether too much away about… aaarghh!!!

On kind loan from Barry ‘Blackhorn’ James, to whom I’ve lent my current all-time favourite film. Jelly Roll gets a great scene in the movie. In the book, he’s the star from page one. Instant echantment.
