A review of "Cerveza Modelo" — 4 years ago

I had a modelo especial with lime and salt. It was alright. I am not one for water beers but out of that group of light efferfescent beers, I would probably choose the modelo over bud or coors or michelob any time.

A story about "New season fuji apples" — 4 years ago

I think that the fuji apple is better than the pink lady apple.

A story about "fish & chips" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Gotta have it with coleslaw! I also love mixing the vinegar, tartar, and ketchup until it’s one big glob. Had it last night but the batter was thick and uncooked – the worst type of fish and chips. It was at the Liberty’s Bar on 22nd and Guerrero in San Francisco. It’s all in the batter. However the guiness was good.

A review of "Flannel Pajamas" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Althought I have rated this movie OK, it is one of those films that keeps in the brain’s memory file. Often I think back upon it and for that reason alone, I recommend seeing it. It’s a very well character developed story. It was more like being a part of a couple’s life for a bit versus it being a movie. The acting was completely realistic. It was told well.

A review of "Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name: A Novel" — 4 years ago

The book started out fairly interesting but towards the middle became predictable and felt rushed. I enjoyed the description of Lapland since I travelled there alone as well so there was some nostalgia in reading the book but other than the nostalgia, the book didn’t do much for me.

A review of "The Wisdom of Forgiveness: Intimate Journeys and Conversations" — 4 years ago

If you are a fan of the Dalai Lama’s teaching, it is a great insight to how the Dalai Lama lives outside of public appearances.

A review of "Falling Through the Earth: A Memoir" — 4 years ago

It is a heart touching memoir, beautifull written. Worth reading given the times.

Why I recommend "It's a Big World, Charlie Brown" — 4 years ago

It was funny and endearing – good with some herb and moscato on a day when you’re playing hookie from work.
