I think this movie has succeeded in honouring the people on United 93 who were courageous enough to resist the hijackers and put up a fight. Even if the whole film was basically based on assumptions, I think it really does justice to the victims of 9/11 and those onboard United 93, more specifically.

This movie is truly moving and pays tribute to the human spirit. Highly recommended.

I would say this is a rather draggy book. However it does reveal much about the dealings in a British High Commission and a diplomat. Whether or not the allegations made about pharmaceutical companies in Africa are true or not, it does reveal the ugly side of corruption and greed.

Nevertheless a satisfying read.

Marvelous movie! Aside from a great performance by Rachel Weisz as the feisty wife of a British diplomat, what is so good about this movie is that it takes place in Africa, or more specifically, Kenya. It portrays Kenya for what it is, in a very different way from typical documentaries or movies.

It is also an excellent adaptation of the book by John Le Carre.

It may seem like any other action movie with lots of CGI and stunts to you, but the fact that it features the great Transformers is what sets it apart. Loved all the action scenes between the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Miranda Priestly is already worth the 2 hours spent on this movie. A much better interpretation of the story than the book. The transformation of Andrea Sachs into a street-smart fashionista is also quite something.

The great wardrobe in this movie is commendable.

A great adrenaline boost. The fantastic riffs from Matthew Bellamy are amazingly uplifting. Out of this world!

Amy Winehouse is a very talented songwriter and vocalist. Not surprising that her album has yet to drop off the UK Top 10 album chart, and she has been nominated for many Grammy awards. Her sound is a lot more polished and sleek on this sophomore effort. For this, credit must be given to Mark Ronson who produced many tracks on this album. But don’t take anything away from Amy Winehouse. Despite all the substance abuse and problems she’s been through, she is still a talented artiste in her own right.
