The reason I hate this movie with a slight passion is not because of the “gay cowboy” thing. That didn’t bother me at all. I am no homophobe.

What bothered me was the pace. It was one of the slowest movies I have ever seen, and I don’t get easily bored by movies. I do have to say I got pretty damn upset at the end.

I’m nowhere near an actual movie critic, so watch it if you want. Just wanted to put in my two cents.

I usually don’t agree with gender to book stereotypes, which is why I ignored the “mostly for girls” part of what I’ve heard about this. The vampire parts of the story are fascinating, and the romance is…tolerable. It does get a little repetitive, but the action within it makes it great.

And now the movie…

This movie was fantastic. Yes, very gory (which I usually don’t like), but from the very beginning it starts getting creepy.

Too bad they are making a sequel…this is one to be left alone.

It is just a nice movie, and has a bit more depth than most raunchy comedies (which Superbad definitely is).

Some may compare it to American Pie, but I think this one is better.
