A story about "Fantasy Baseball '07"

Fantasy Baseball '07

by Sporting News

Winter always seems like a long, bleak time. The excitement of October goes by pretty quick if your team isn’t involved in the postseason and it seems as if you’re left with nothing until April. But that’s not true at all. When the Sporting News releases their fantasy baseball magazine it’s only one small step away from the ump yelling “PLAY BALL” on opening day.

Sure, in this day and age, the internet is a more useful, more up to date source for fantasy info. But I’m always as giddy as a school girl when I see this thing on the shelves for the first time.

A story about "American Idiot"

American Idiot

by Green Day

Many call it their best album, but I think it’s by far their worst. It’s Green Day, so it’s still good stuff and worth consuming, but their earlier stuff is much better. The band has matured in recent years and this CD has a message to it. But I honestly couldn’t care less about their political beliefs and the reason why Green Day is so great is because they’re fun. Their songs are catchy, upbeat, and fun to just jump around to. American Idiot doesn’t really have that.
