It was actually my older brother’s. I remember trying to figure out how to play it. But I just couldn’t get a grasp of the small little blips moving across the screen. In any case, I did get a kick out of the sounds it made (even if I had no idea what was happening).
Oysters taste even better when you’ve spent the last hour opening them yourself for guests.
When we were young, my dad would sometimes make Mickey Mouse pancakes. Sure, it’s nothing, but we loved it!
So, do we love it for the escargots or the sauce?
I just don’t quite understand the attraction to caviar. But I’m just not a fan of overly salty things.
I got into an argument with another spaniard about whether or not you can put peas in a paella. He said yes, I said no. (I realise I had no leg to stand on this one, as I am not Spanish).
In any case, you can put almost anything you want in paella these days.
What do you put in your paella?
The first time I had this was during a post season football party. The paella was made by our captain, a spaniard from Valencia. It was excellent!
I love moules + frites! Can’t get enough! Speaking of mussles, it’s mussle season now!
The second time I had pig’s feet was in a fabulous restaurant, Au Petit Théâtre.
Everything they do has pork and they do it well. I actually didn’t order the pig’s feet. The person I was with did but she couldn’t finish them. So I did. They were excellent! Melted in your mouth.
