Why I want to consume "Silent Alarm" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

pitchfork gave this album an accurate review in that the album is very good.

made me think of the clash….and of some of the better 80/90 bands around.

once consumed, i’m sure it will not collect too much dust on the shelf.

Why I gave up consuming "Worst Enemy" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

it’s a short album.

in that short time, GBG do some incredible stuff. i like them since they are L.A. natives.

of course, in my librarian fetishness, Michelle is a rock goddess

Why I want to consume "Stumble Into Grace" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

There was a great BBC review of this album which sealed the deal in terms of consumption.

this is VERY well produced and, now first-hand, can support the statement that Emmylou is a North American treasure.

insightful lyrics.

Why I want to consume "Countryman [Digipack]" — 2 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

willie is an american folk icon. this album takes 2 listens to grow on you…and then you realize you have burning spear or big youth if you want the real thing.

nonetheless, worth consuming.

Why I want to consume "Cuentos de amor, de locura y de muerte" — 2 years ago

Quiroga is an incredible storyteller. It is a shame that we don’t get exposed to him (or many foreign authors).

His narrative prowess is impressive.

This book is avaialble in English from Amazon.

Why it's taking me forever to finish consuming "Eco" — 2 years ago

this is an excellent album. i think i like it better than Cerati’s Bocanada which is a good album in its own right.
