I could not possibly say enough about the amazingness of this book. Not only is it an incredible journey, it is also extremely well written. It pulls you right into the pages.

This is one of the only Morning Star products I don’t find addictivley scrumptious.

They’re yummy, they’re good for you…they come from heinously abusive companies where workers have no rights and are routinely forced to work at gunpoint when they want rights. Sad sad truth. Dole, Chiquita, and Del Monte are awful companies.

The concept is amazing. I have to say I didn’t enjoy it 100% while I was watching it, but it’s worth watching at least once. I would like to see it again perhaps if the opportunity presents itself.

I’ve read about some things that were cut to make it shorter that really would have made the story better. But I’ve also heard these things are on the soundtrack, so if you want more of the story I guess you’ll have to buy that!

We watched in a high school soc class, which made it less enjoyable because there were some real jerks in the class, and it was really, really hard to keep from crying. I don’t know if I would watch it again, but it is a powerful movie.
