i loved this book. it took me rather by surprise as it starts of rather soberly. the humour pretends to be subtle but comes off and socks you just when you least expect it. rather spike milliganish. makes fun of all those dark moody farm and country novels…

wow. i feel like falling at this guy’s feet (were he not ever so dead), and telling him “i’m not worthy”. loved it. only book that can be kept on same shelf as midnights’ children
