Charming, pithy, silly, pleasant. Not a cinematic masterpiece but a good way to spend a couple hours nonetheless.

The plot made no sense (NO SENSE), the tween-heroine was so annoying a couple of my fillings came out, and even the supposed moral message of the movie was confusing. I watched this one day on netflix to punish myself for being sick. I got the mental anguish that I suppose I was after. Wow, WHAT A MESS. What a mess!
This man is the bridge between the world of science and the world of non-science-people. Everything in this book was fascinating, well-written, thought-provoking and friendly. Everyone in the entire world should read this book.
This was the first webcomic I ever read and definitely my favorite. I eventually end up recommending it to everyone I meet because it’s the funniest thing I’ve ever read on the internet, and cumulatively, perhaps in my life. Sad to see it end, but as someone who likes to “finish” things, I at least feel that I can say that I’ve CONSUMED it.
Whoa. What did I just eat? I should never eat it again/I should eat it all the time. Save yourself!
Informative, professional, and hell of interesting. A bit dry in parts but if you’re used to scholarly reading it won’t hurt at all. All in all, 4/5!
This movie is awesome. They did a great job of capturing the plot movement and devices of the 1970s, and the characters are very real. Enjoyable, heartwarming, funny. I hope you’ll watch it!
If you’re a history major, interested in Russian Studies, Women’s Studies, or just interested in knowing more about the radical scene in 19th century Russia, this book is essential. It’s a great starting point for learning the reasons behind the radical movement, terrorism, and the Russian revolution. Siljak is a great writer, and the book reads like a novel. Highly recommended.
I read this for a history class and was pleasantly surprised to find it entirely readable, comprehensive and smooth. An impressive amount of information has been packed into a few hundred pages. A must read for anyone wanting to know more about the 18th century.
This was my text book for two Russian History classes, and I read it from cover to cover, even though all of it wasn’t assigned. It was informative, well-written, and absolutely fascinating. If you want to know about the history of Russia from the Vikings on, this is a good place to start.
