A story about "The Enchanted Forest Chronicles: Dealing with Dragons / Searching for Dragons / Calling on Dragons / Talking to Dragons"

The Enchanted Forest Chronicles: Dealing with Dragons / Searching for Dragons / Calling on Dragons / Talking to Dragons

by Patricia C. Wrede

These are light fantasy books – the story line continues throughout each book. I read these books when I was probably 13 years old, and I’ve probably read them a half a dozen times more since. Great books for children, teenagers or adults!

A story about "Life Expectancy"

Life Expectancy

by Dean Koontz

I have read a lot of books by Dean Koontz but this is by far my favorite. I couldn’t stop laughing – the book is so random and comical you just can’t help it. The situations and characters reaction to them is so much fun, but it still maintains a serious feel throughout. Even if you didn’t like other Koontz novels, try this one – you won’t regret it!

A story about "This is all I ask"

This is all I ask

by Lynn Kurland

Kurland does a super job at creating her characters and scenes so that you feel like you are observing what is going on, rather than reading about it. This story is about a woman who has very low self-esteem (thanks to her father) and a man who was blinded in an act of treachery. They both feel like they aren’t good enough for the other, but a vow brings them together and they learn how to love. Kurland is very witty and had me laughing, but the book is serious as well.

A story about "This Heart of Mine (Avon Romance)"

This Heart of Mine (Avon Romance)

by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

This is a great romance book. It made me laugh out loud but it was so genuine and normal – the kind of thing you could hear somebody else tell you about. Really fantastic characters and settings – probably the best romance book I’ve read.
