Disc 1 (of 6) is really very good. Shostakovich is brilliant in how he can capture so many different moods within the same setting of a string quartet. Genius.

WORTH CONSUMING!
This is a fabulous collection of ALL of his pieces, and it really shows off the variety of styles that he has mastered, not just the familiar themes.
