It’s wonderful and addicting. I just hope I don’t finish it too fast… I want the fun to last.

A review of "The Hobbit" (rated 1 star)

The Hobbit

by J.R.R. Tolkien

This book was amazingly horrible. There was NO point to the entire story, the characters were weak, the plot was dumb, and the writing style ill suited the story. The author would go off about some mundane detail for pages and then veer off onto some different, unrelated (and just as boring) topic. I tried for weeks to give the story a chance and it never once struck me as entertaining. I was overjoyed when I finished the book… my self-imposed punishment finally came to an end!

Beautiful (rated 4 stars)

Twilight

by Stephenie Meyer

The great thing about this book is that the author leaves A LOT to the imagination. Being able to fill in the spots with my own colors, feelings, interpretations made it WONDERFUL. (did anyone notice the lack of description as to what Bella actually LOOKED like?)

I don’t know if I would ever consider this novel “suspenseful”... However, the author did an extremely wonderful job conveying that jelly feeling and sense of exhilaration when one falls head over heels in love. It’s a sweet poignant story that’s not really about the plot so much as it is about the vivid characters. They were so well portrayed…

I can’t wait to finish the series.

Everything about this movie, the plot, the characters, the dialog ect… was BRILLIANT!

A review of "A Clockwork Orange"

A Clockwork Orange

by Anthony Burgess

I hated this book. It was NOT ‘deep’ or ‘meaningful’ it didn’t even make sense!! The language was stupid… I forced myself to read the whole thing, simply because everyone said this book was exactly what I would like…
I now feel Dumber than ever for having read it… Even the author himself was disappointed that this crap became his most noted work.

This book brings to mind a quote by Friedrich Nietzsche:
“Whoever knows he is deep, strives for clarity; whoever would like to appear deep to the crowd, strives for obscurity. For the crowd considers anything deep if only it cannot see to the bottom: the crowd is so timid and afraid of going into the water.”

Tori is a visionary and is much ahead of her time. Every song on this album was completely redone and Tori gave them all a new life. She is the epitome of talent and this record clearly shows it.

A review of "Animal Crossing: Wild World"

Animal Crossing: Wild World

by Nintendo

I LOVED this game! I have been playing it for a year now and I still can’t get enough of it.
In the game you make up your own character and town and the whole point is that there is NO POINT!! You can do soooo much… Pick and sell fruit for money, up-grade and decorate your home, make friends with your neighbors (or not…) collect all the clothing or items, plant flower gardens, fish, grow trees, catch bugs, visit other peoples towns via wi-fi ect…

I am addicted. It’s wonderful.
