A great book.
Howard Buten took such an interesting approach to writing this book. It is hard to believe a man in his thirties can write from an eight-year-old’s point of view.
A very interesting tale from Franz Kafka. Though he never visited America, his descriptions of the places, landscape, and people are as accurate as any native or tourist would use.
Jean-Paul Sartre’s writings never cease to amaze me.
Another book recommended by my boyfriend that really drew me into the world of Siddhartha, and introduced me to his pain, happiness, and wisdom.
Invisible Man is one of the best modern books. The quote I relate to the most is: “And my problem was that I always tried to go in everyone’s way but my own. I have also been called one thing and then another while no one really wished to hear what I called myself. So, after years of trying to adopt the opinions of others I finally rebelled. I am an invisible man.”
This book is highly recommended.
