Better and better — 2 years ago
I am a huge Donna Leon fan. I can’t recall how I found her books, but now that I have read A Sea of Troubles, I have completed the collection. Commissario Brunetti is the protagonist of the series, and they are all set in Venice. I am transported there every time I pick up one of her books. What I enjoyed most about this one is that Leon delves into the personal life of Brunetti’s colleaugue, Signorina Elettra. It is always interesting when you are used to only seeing the strengths of a character, and you appreciate the character even more when you are introduced to their weaknesses.
