It’s the original classic!
I’m finally good enough to beat this
Surprisingly good. I love all the strong female characters introduced in this movie. Though I still hate the version of Robin they used in this period of Batman cartoon history. And using Tim Drake’s name when he’s clearly Jason todd jsut annoys me. I’m also not one of the people who loved the change in animation style in the era this movie’s from, I liked the early 90’s version better myself. Still good movie
I enjoyed this movie, i enjoyed the book more, but rarely is that not to be said about a movie. The book got more in depth in the history and theories, the movie more towards the action and stuff. Tom hanks wasn’t right for the role I always thought wfrom when i first heard he was in it, but the rest of the casting wasn’t too bad. I do wish they’d included Langdon’s explaination about the ritual Sophie saw her grandfather take part in, it’d be nice for the public at large to have that explained to them.
Very close to the old-style Batman that that show is trying to capture
Peter David’s writing is great. the story and dialog pulls you in so that reading each issue is no more a challange than watching your favourite tv show. Never a dull moment I guess is what that means. It’s also great how the comic in some ways even got better in the later days, if only they’d given a few more years to it, and could have played out all the story lines they had wanted to do. But then they went and replaced Peter David, and only a couple of months later canceled the whole 2099 line of comics. Ugh. Horrible. And the replacement writing jsut did not “get” what made the previous issues so good. no idea at all. other than those last issues, still, one of my favourites all the way. It’s also the first of 2 series’ that I collected, this along with Robin #1 and Spider-man Classics #2.
the story was never that good, but it showed it might go somewhere in the later issues. but then they killed him off and ended the whole things out of virtually nowhere. I think it was msotly the art that kept me reading them, plus the main character does end up becoming pretty likeable. Definatly got better when Stan lee stopped writing for it
better and much less boring than part one i think
Decent action, humour that keeps the movie from getting stale, decent acting too. I don’t like msot aciton movies, this one i liked
