A story about "Some Like It Hot (Special Edition)" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Great movie, there are not many really funny and so entertaining movies as this is.

Why I recommend "Mostly Harmless" — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I read it yesterday and all I can say is: ah! Well I didn’t expect the end, it really surprised me.
It was funny, as every one of the series and it was at least better than Thanks for all the fish, which was good too, but not as good as this one. I think it is worth reading and worth living with this book read.

The worst of the series but still good enough to read — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The book was a bit chaotic. Maybe I read it little quickly, but anyway… There are some mistakes (in my Slovakian translation) and it’s a bit chaotically written. It’s definitely missing something, it could be longer. But still it is entertaining, interesting and surprising enough to read. Well it is a great book, even when the others from judge Dee mysteries are better.

Best browser — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I’m using this browser like four months and it is great. I don’t have anything else what to say, it’s just perfect.
And I mostly like the Mouse Gestures feature. You just hold the right button on your mouse and move it to “draw” some signs, like if you go down and right you will close the tab (window) you’re viewing. It’s really great I recommend it to everybody. It seems much faster than Internet Explorer from MS, and lot of functions which are so great about other browsers appeared at Opera at first. Really great!

Missing universe — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I really miss the funny aspect of traveling through the universe and meeting all the non-sense things and men. This book is interesting, yes it is, but the previous three (and the first and second ones, definitely) were better. Anyway I think it was worth reading and worth buying but not as worth as it could be. When I’m thinking about it again now, it is boring thing written so well, that it’s interesting.

An interesting look at the Physic — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This book is really an interesting look at the Physic and the most interesting book about Physic, which I ever have read.
It’s about Maxwell’s equations, magnetism and electricity. Stories about all the scientists which came with so fantastic discoveries are really good written. They are not like “real” stories more like talking about the stories. But I liked it.
At the end are some really funny parts about the future of these discoveries and about that, how people will live in ten years later (20 years ago, according to today). The book was written in the year 1978.

How "Life, the Universe and Everything (Hitchhiker's Trilogy (Paperback))" changed my life — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think I will never be the same person after reading this book (and the previous two). It’s so funny, humorous and so non-sense smart.
Why people watch stupid action movies, when there are such great books, which should everyone read?

Well, absolutely not good enough for me — 3 years ago

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I think as knitwitsl that this book is a good start to the series, but it’s not good for anything else. I think it’s the worst fiction I ever read. Because I am very choosy I always select the books with good reviews and so, but this book isn’t good (for me enough). And I think that the sequels are written the same style.
The best thing about books at generally is that they have descriptions. In the movies you see something and you can’t do with it anything else than watch it. But when you read a book you can imagine everything by yourself. With Magician’s Nephew it was a bit hard. The descriptions were really bad written, the static ones and the dynamic ones were definitely the worst descriptions I ever read. I hardly imagined anything, and the characters were not described at all. And some situations were really unreal, kids were in the other worlds like it’s everyday routine and the dialogues were absurd too.
Finally I like the maid from the house. She did like two things in whole book and she were never described, but I laughed whenever I read a comment about her. I think that if Mr. Lewis would wrote a book about this maid it would be better than this one.
But as I said, really bad written, but really good story. I think that the movie (based on sequel to this book) is much better alternative / choice.

Dynamic — 3 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

The whole book was much more dynamic than other books from the series about judge Dee. No pauses and gaps, when is nothing happening, there was something going on almost still. And pretty well made end, really great book.

Why I recommend "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6)" — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think it’s one of the best books, from the series, if not the best one. The whole book seems much more like story for adults than a book for children. A story of complete series fits together and this one book is different than other five, and I’m really looking forward to read a next one.
One of the things, which I never liked about the first book, was that, it’s too short. And this sixth (and previous two) is (are) long enough to contain all the interesting things, which it (they) should.
